m.Net Corporation, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), and South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC) have joined forces to present “miniSeries”, an innovative form of storytelling for the mobile world. The miniSeries is downloadable to mobile phones enabled with WAP/GPRS and with Bluetooth or infra-red connectivity. During February and March, two of these enchanting stories, Stanley and Dean and The Perils of Flossy, will be free to download to your mobile phone at the Melbourne GPO ABC Shop via the Hypertag poster. Hypertag is a technology that allows files to be downloaded from posters to mobile phones using infra-red and bluetooth technology. In one story, the dissatisfied brothers Stanley and Dean find themselves on a road trip midway through their lives. Full of determination but with empty pockets, the inept brothers head West to seek revenge. In the animated Stanley and Dean, follow these two peculiar men on a very strange road trip. Watch all four engaging stories: La Musica Fantastica, Stanley and Dean, The Perils of Flossy and Melissa Murphy’s Holiday from Hell, on your mobile phone and online at abc.net.au/miniseries |
