Dr Chris Beare
Chairman

Chris has degrees in Science
and Engineering, and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Adelaide University.
He also has an MBA from the Harvard
Business School.
Chris was the first Head of Strategy at Telecom Australia in the mid 1980s. He left Telecom in 1988 to become the Executive Director of venture capital firm Advent Management and then moved to Sydney in 1991 with Hambros Bank. When Hambros was sold to Société Generale in 1998 he was the Head of Corporate Finance and joint CEO of Hambros Australia.
In 1998 Chris joined Radiata as Chairman and CEO, guiding the company to a successful sale to Cisco Systems in February 2001. He remained part-time with Cisco as Director of Business Development until early 2004.
Chris is Chairman of DBREEF, a top 50 ASX listed company managing over $10 billion of real estate assets. He is Chairman of Accede Capital Venture Partners, and a shareholder and founding Director of BBB Capital Investment Banking. He is a member of the commercial committees of both CSIRO and NICTA, and Chairman of the CSIRO ICT Sector Advisory Council. Chris was a founding director of m.Net Corporation and became Chairman in 2005. He spends an appreciable amount of his time assisting start-up companies in various capacities. |
Rohan Lund

Rohan is the CEO of Yahoo!7 and Chairman of Yahoo!Xtra in New Zealand. He was the original architect of the Yahoo!7 joint venture and CEO from launch until June 2006.
Rohan is the Chairman of the IAB and a director of TiVo Australia, Unwired, Engin and m.Net.
Previously, Rohan was Director, Digital Media and Strategic Investments for Seven Network Limited, overseeing the digital media and communications businesses in the Seven Group with responsibility for corporate strategy and digital investments across the broader Seven group.
Prior to joining Seven in 2004, Rohan was the Strategy Director with SingTel Optus. |
Michael Anderson

Michael Anderson is Chief
Executive Officer and a Director of Austereo Group Ltd. Michael has a
distinguished career in radio, spanning more than 14 years.
He joined Austereo in 1990 as
Sales Director of FOXFM in Melbourne, moving to Sydney in 1991 to head up
the Group's sales operations. Michael was appointed Chief Operating Officer in
May 2003 and Chief Executive Officer in August 2003. Michael has served on the
Austereo Board of Directors since 1996 and is also currently the Chairman of
Commercial Radio Australia
- the national radio industry body.

Hilary Mine
CEO, Alcatel Australia |
Hilary Mine is the Chief
Executive Officer of Alcatel Australasia. Appointed in October 2005, Hilary
leads Alcatel's business across Australia,
New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
She joined Alcatel from the
industry analyst firm Probe Research, Inc. where she was Executive Vice
President, with responsibility for providing tactical and strategic guidance to
global technology companies and service providers in areas including market
timing, product marketing, competitive analysis, and strategic customer focus.
Hilary has also held senior analyst and management positions with key industry
and technology research firms including Intel and the Gartner Inc.
Hilary holds a BA in Economics from Reed
College and an MBA in Business
Analysis from San Francisco
State University. |
Dr John Ricketts

John has been a director of
m.Ogilvy - Ogilvy's dedicated wireless marketing solutions company - since
2000.
m.Ogilvy's wireless solutions
have been some of the most successful mobile marketing efforts in Japan and Asia
Pacific - many are official DoCoMo offerings & key case studies in the
field.
Since November 2001, he lead OgilvyInteractive Japan & was a Management Partner of
OgilvyOne Japan,
in addition to his existing role. He guided the agency to its first
international awards and healthy profitability. OgilvyOne Japan has grown dramatically since
being established four years ago. It is now Ogilvy's largest office in Asia
Pacific; a region where Ogilvy is clearly established as the dominant agency.

David Ko

David Ko is vice president and general manager for Yahoo!’s Connected Life business across Asia. Based in Singapore, he is responsible for extending Yahoo!’s mobile products, broadband services, digital home initiatives and PC client experiences. David also oversees the deployment and distribution of Yahoo! oneSearch, Yahoo! Go suite of services, and mobile advertising across the Asia Pacific region.
Since joining Yahoo! in April 2000, David has been a leader in driving the company’s mobile business and managing key partnerships with vendors, device manufactures and operators including AT&T, Globe Telecom, Helio, Motorola, RIM, Rogers, Sprint, Taiwan Mobile, Verizon, and others.
In his previous role at Yahoo!, David was senior director of global mobile and was responsible for developing and implementing Yahoo!’s worldwide mobile strategy. He was a key contributor in the distribution strategy of Yahoo! products and services including: Yahoo! Mobile Web, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Mobile Search, Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Games and Yahoo! Photos. Before joining the mobile team, David was the senior director for consumer services for Yahoo!, where he was responsible for developing a distribution strategy for Yahoo! premium services.
Prior to joining Yahoo!, David served as a senior associate for Equity Capital Markets at Salomon Smith Barney, where he was responsible for identifying, executing and closing deals in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors. Before joining the Equity Capital Markets group, he was a financial analyst for the Investment Banking Division in Global Energy.

Ross Fielding

Ross is the Executive Director, Strategic Planning & Operations within the Telstra Product Management and was appointed to this role in January 2006. He has played a key role in the establishment of the group.
Ross has also previously held executive positions with Telstra in a variety of areas including Telstra Retail / Consumer & Marketing, Product Management, Marketing, Technology Management (Network and IT) and Process Reengineering.
With the range of roles Ross has performed, he has gained both broad and detailed experience in all facets of the Telstra business, managing teams both large and small.
Ross has a Bachelor of Engineering (majoring in electronics / communications), has completed a number of management programs run by the Australian Graduate School of Management and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. |
